CROSSO mounting system is easy and functional at the same time. It takes only a couple of seconts to mount a pannier and fasten it firmly to the carrier. Absence of plastic elements guarantees endurance and reliability, which was proved in long expeditions.
Handle
For easy mounting, unmounting and carrying the pannier.
Main hooks
Made of steel, 3mm thick (2mm in small ones). Double zinc-plated for extra protection against rust. Firmly fixed to a stiff plate rivets. One hook can carry more burden than a pannier. Steel does not crack and you can straighten it as opposed to plastic hooks.
Regulated clamping belt
Allows to choose an optimal pressing strength panniers to carrier.Double, rubber line, 8 mm diameter, makes pannier still on a carrier, even on bumpy roads.
Nitrated guide belt
It guarantees that panniers adhere to a carrier. It moves forces on the skid plate.
Counter hook
It makes a pannier still on a carrier, guarantees even load for both counter hooks.
Mounting the pannier:
Attach the counter hook to the lower eyelet of the bicycle rack, then using the handle lift the pannier up and fasten the main hooks on the rack platform. Ready!
NOTICE: before first pannier usage, choose the appropriate length of clamping belt.
Otherwise a pannier can get unfastened during riding!
Strength tension should provide resistance during pannier is put on, it is of particular importance especially when panniers are heavy.
